Seven hidden pockets.
Six large buttoned interior compartments + one chest passport pocket. Enough capacity to wear what would otherwise count as a second carry-on.
Designed not to bulk.
A shaped waistband and tailored silhouette absorb the storage without showing it. Load it up — you won't look like the Michelin Man at the gate.
Fleece where it counts.
Soft fleece lining inside the collar and side pockets. Warmth at the parts that need it most — the neck, the hands — without the weight of a full sherpa interior.
Doubles as a pillow.
Roll it up on long flights. The puff gives you cushion; the fleece lining gives you comfort. One coat, one pillow, one less thing to pack.
Airlines charge by the bag. Not the jacket.
Baggage fees are how budget airlines make their money. The "free carry-on" gets weighed at the gate. The second bag costs more than the flight. The hand luggage rules change every other month.
The PuffAdder is a puffer jacket designed around the loophole. Six large interior pockets. An internal mesh storage system. A chest pocket for your passport. Enough hidden capacity to absorb the overflow from your suitcase — a sweater, a phone charger, a paperback, a packing cube of underwear.
You wear the jacket through security. The airline weighs your bag. Everyone moves on.
"Pack more. Pay less."
Three details. That carry the rest.
Six interior pockets.
Large buttoned compartments lined with mesh. Sized for sweaters, paperbacks, packing cubes, electronics. Distributed so nothing bulges or shifts when worn.
Chest. Always reachable.
An external zip pocket on the chest, marked with the AIR / KITTO badge. Sized for passport, boarding pass, and a phone. The first thing you reach for, the last thing you'd lose.
Warm where it counts.
Fleece-lined side pockets to thaw cold hands at the gate. Fleece-lined collar to keep wind out and warmth in. Soft against the skin during long-haul flights.
Things people ask us.
How much can the pockets actually hold?
A folded sweater, two t-shirts, socks, underwear, a paperback, a phone charger, sunglasses, a passport, and a phone — comfortably. Roughly the volume of a small packing cube, distributed across the lining so nothing bulges.
Will I look like the Michelin Man?
No. The jacket has a tailored silhouette with a shaped waistband and structured shoulders that absorb the storage without bloating. Loaded or empty, it reads as a normal puffer.
Is it warm enough for winter?
For mild-to-cool winters (5–15°C), yes — comfortably. For deep winter (below freezing), use it as a mid-layer under a heavier coat. The fleece neck lining and side pockets handle the wind-exposed parts well.
How does the passport pocket work?
An external zip pocket on the chest, marked with the AIR / KITTO logo. Fits a passport, boarding pass, and a phone. Reach up, unzip, retrieve. Designed for the boarding-gate routine.
Can it really work as a pillow?
Yes. Roll it inside-out, fleece-side facing you. The puff gives you cushion; the fleece gives you comfort. Empty the interior pockets first or you'll wake up bruised.
How do I clean it?
Machine wash cold on a delicate cycle. Empty all pockets first. Tumble dry low or hang dry. Don't iron — the puffer panels don't appreciate it.
